is it raining at walmart or am i losing my mind

honestly if you aren’t having a mid-life crisis at age 16 in a flooded walmart parking lot are you even living??

look at this image. look at the absolute VIBE. the sky is literally crying (same) and this person has just… given up. they’ve achieved a level of "i don't care" that i can only aspire to. the denim jacket over the head? main character in a low-budget indie film about the crushing weight of capitalism and soggy groceries?

The Car: a nissan rogue. how poetic. because honestly? we are all rogues in this rain-slicked hellscape.

The Cart: empty? full of regrets? who knows. all i see is a metal cage for our collective souls. The Pavement: it’s art. don’t @ me. The Mystery Man: shoutout to the guy in the background just vibing in the distance. he’s the subplot nobody asked for.

why this is literally my entire personality, i woke up today and my hair was doing that weird flippy thing and i realized i have a DBA i didn’t study for and honestly? i just want to put a light-wash denim jacket over my head and push a shopping cart into the abyss.

there’s something so liminal about a wet parking lot. it feels like the waiting room for the rest of your life. or maybe i just watched too many A24 movies this weekend. either way, the saturated gray tones are hitting different.

"life is just a series of walmart parking lots until you die." — probably some philosopher, or me, just now.
